Introduction / Company Overview
DrinkWorks, Cultcha’s mother company, is a young, fast-growing company selling locally-made craft sodas. With our brands Cultcha Kombucha and Del Sol Water Kefir (launching October 1st), our mission is to make tasty and better-for-you drinks accessible across The Netherlands, replacing both unhealthy sodas and alcohol.
Role Summary
As DrinkWorks first sales hire, you will be responsible for driving the growth of both our brands, Cultcha Kombucha and Del Sol Water Kefir alongside our head of sales. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position where you will be given a lot of autonomy to grow across on-trade, key accounts and catering. You will be responsible for actively managing existing customer relationships, and establishing new ones with The Netherlands’ coolest Restaurants, Bars & cafés.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the main contact point for our distributor’s sales team: You will help them grow our brands by going out in the field together, educating them on our brands and products, and closing deals together.
- Grow our HoReCa customer base: You will be responsible for growing our presence in Hotels, Restaurants and cafés across the country.
- Strengthen existing relationships: By growing our assortment to maximize the value we can offer them.
- Help shape our strategy and offering: As DrinkWorks’ eyes and ears in the field, you will help our Head of Sales improve our strategy and offering to fit the needs of our customers and deliver outstanding value.
- Manage year-end negotiations for customers in your region and ensure timely pay-out of bonuses.
- Offer World-Class customer service: You will regularly visit your customers, finding ways to better support them, advising them on trends and potential improvements to their assortments, and solving any issues or problems they may face.
- Increase visibility of our brand portfolio on-premise: Through proper menu listings, fridge visibility, POS material and activations.
- Represent our brands: At tasting, fairs and events in your region.
- Monitor existing agreements: To ensure requirements are met by both DrinkWorks and our customers.
Who We're Looking For (Requirements / Qualifications)
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- At least two years of experience in sales, preferably in the out-of-home channel for a food or beverage company.
- Experience in a rapidly growing company is a plus.
- Fluency (written and verbal) in both English and Dutch.
- Someone who can work independently and is always looking for ways to add value among existing and potential customers.
- A valid driver’s license
- Personal traits: Detail-oriented, accountable, self-starter, Confident, Energetic, a love for outstanding service.
